Members onlyA closed community for doctors & medical students

Where medicos belong.

You chose a life few people truly understand — the long nights, the hard calls, the quiet victories no one else sees. MedSocio is the one place where everyone around you gets it. A closed, trusted community of doctors and medical students, where you can learn, consult, celebrate and simply be yourself — among your own.

Easy to join Triple-verified identities 60+ specialty communities

Not just another networking app

A home, not a directory.

Medicine is a demanding journey. The people who understand it best are the ones who have lived it — and we intend to connect every single one of them here.

Generic social networks were never designed for the realities of medical profession. But MedSocio is built exclusively for that. It is a closed peer community for doctors and medical students — a place where you can ask the question you'd hesitate to ask elsewhere, share the case that kept you awake, celebrate the milestone only a fellow medico would understand, and post a sunset photograph from the end of a 36-hour shift, too.

Only medicos inside

Every member is a doctor or medical student whose identity we have checked. No anonymous voices, no outsiders, no noise.

Organised around your specialty

Your people, your language, your cases — in dedicated communities for every discipline, from Cardiology to Ophthalmology.

Peers, seniors and experts, side by side

First-year MBBS students and consultants with decades of practice, learning from one another as equals in the calling.

Professional and personal, in one place

Clinical depth when you need it; warmth, humour and friendship whenever you want it. You are more than your white coat.

Our promise of trust

Three layers of verification.
One badge you can be proud of.

Trust is the foundation of every clinical conversation. That is why every doctor on MedSocio passes a rigorous, three-step identity check before receiving the badge — so that when you read an opinion here, you know exactly who it comes from.

01

Medical registration check

Your medical registration number is checked against the relevant medical council records, confirming that you are a registered medical practitioner.

02

Advanced AI profile review

Our advanced AI cross-checks your profile details — name, qualifications and registration information — for consistency and authenticity.

03

Manual verification

Finally, a member of our team personally reviews your profile. A human eye on every doctor — because some things deserve that care.

Verified

The MedSocio verified badge

Once all three checks are complete, the badge appears beside your name — a quiet signal to every peer that you are exactly who you say you are. It earns you trust in case discussions, credibility with mentees and a genuine voice in your specialty.

Dr Neha Kapoor Emergency Medicine · 11:40 pm

26-year-old woman, her third emergency visit this month. Severe abdominal pain but a soft abdomen, sodium 124, new weakness in both arms. Scans are normal. Her urine sample, left standing on the bench, has turned the colour of port wine. What am I missing?

RS
Dr Ravi Shankar Haematology · 22 yrs

Pain out of proportion to the examination, hyponatraemia, a motor neuropathy and urine that darkens on standing. Send a spot urine porphobilinogen today. Stop any porphyrinogenic drugs and start IV glucose while you wait.

Acute intermittent porphyria confirmed. Urine porphobilinogen markedly raised; haem arginate started the same night.

What makes MedSocio unique

Communities built around your specialty.

Most networks put everyone in one crowded room. MedSocio gives every discipline its own space — where an ophthalmologist speaks with ophthalmologists, a cardiologist with cardiologists, and every conversation goes as deep as your specialty demands.

Clinical case discussions

Present complex, rare or instructive cases and learn from how your peers would manage them.

Specialty-specific feeds

Updates, guidelines and debates that matter to your field — not everyone else's.

Cross-specialty opinions

Need a nephrologist's view on your cardiac patient? Reach across communities in seconds.

Students welcome

Medical students observe, ask and learn from the very specialists they aspire to become.

Peer second opinions

When a case keeps you up at night,
you are never alone.

Every doctor meets the case that doesn't fit the textbook. On MedSocio, you can put it before peers, seniors and experts from your own specialty — and receive considered, credible opinions when they matter most.

Right diagnosis and right treatment at the right time.
That is how lives are saved.

MedSocio brings the right minds to your case — so you can bring the right care to your patient.

Share the case

Post findings, investigations and imaging in your specialty community — anonymised to protect patient privacy.

Reach the right experts

Your case is seen by peers, senior consultants and subspecialists who work in your field every day.

Receive considered opinions

Differentials, investigations, management approaches and references — each from a fellow doctor you can trust.

Decide with confidence

You remain the treating doctor. You simply decide with the wisdom of your whole specialty behind you.

SECOND OPINION · CARDIOLOGY

Dr Rahul Mehta — 58-year-old diabetic, atypical chest discomfort, borderline troponin, ECG largely unremarkable. Would you proceed to angiography now or observe with serial markers?

PN
Dr Priya Nair

In a diabetic with borderline troponin, I'd repeat at 3 hours and consider early echo for regional wall motion abnormalities before deciding…

VS
Dr V. Subramanian

Agree. Atypical presentations are common in diabetics — keep a low threshold for invasive evaluation if the trend rises…

Why doctors trust second opinions here

  • Every opinion comes from a triple-verified doctor
  • Specialty communities mean relevant expertise
  • Seniors and experts are just a post away
  • A closed community — no public audience
  • Patient privacy is respected by design

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions.

Who can join MedSocio?

MedSocio is exclusively for doctors and medical students. Every doctor goes through our three-step identity check, and medical students are checked too, so the community remains a closed space for the medical fraternity alone.

How does the triple verification work?

First, your medical registration number is checked. Next, advanced AI reviews your profile details for consistency and authenticity. Finally, a member of our team carries out a manual review. Once all three steps are complete, you receive the verified badge.

Is the verified badge really free?

Yes. The badge is completely free of cost. We believe trust should never come with a price tag.

How do I get a second opinion on a case?

Post the case, without any patient identifiers, in the relevant specialty community. Peers, seniors and experts in that specialty can then share their differentials, suggested investigations and management approaches. The clinical decision always remains yours.

Can I post non-clinical content?

Absolutely. MedSocio is as much a social network as a professional one. Share milestones, photographs, reflections, hobbies or simply how your day went — with people who truly understand your world.

Which exams can I prepare for?

MedSocio offers preparation for NEET PG, INI-CET, FMGE and Medical NET, along with USMLE resources — including question banks, adaptive mock tests, previous year papers, analytics and community study groups.

Does AI Clinical Assist replace clinical judgement?

No. AI Clinical Assist is designed to support you by surfacing differentials and relevant guidelines quickly. It works alongside your clinical expertise and never replaces it.
