This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1For medical professionals only
MedSocio is a closed platform for registered medical practitioners and medical students. Its content is written for, and by, people with medical training. It is not intended for patients or members of the public, and it must not be used by anyone as a source of personal medical advice.
2Educational purposes
All content on MedSocio, including case discussions, opinions, articles, journal summaries, test preparation material, templates and tool outputs, is provided for professional education and information only. It is not a substitute for clinical examination, appropriate investigations, specialist consultation or your own professional judgement.
3Opinions from members
Opinions shared in case discussions and communities are the personal views of individual members, based only on the information provided to them. They may not reflect the full clinical picture. MedSocio does not review, verify or endorse members' opinions, and no doctor–patient relationship is created through the Platform.
4AI Diagnostic Assist
AI Diagnostic Assist is a clinical decision-support tool for education. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
- AI can be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and it may not account for the full clinical context.
- Suggested differentials and guidelines are prompts for your thinking, not conclusions.
- Always verify suggestions against current, authoritative guidelines and your own assessment.
5Clinical tools and templates
- Drug interaction results, dose calculations and lab interpretations must be checked against current prescribing information, formularies and local protocols before use.
- Discharge summary templates are starting points. Adapt every template to the individual patient and to your institution's protocols.
- ICD-10 codes should be confirmed against the official classification and your institution's requirements.
6Guidelines change
Medicine evolves quickly. While we work to keep content current, guidelines, drug information and evidence may change after content is published. Always refer to the latest authoritative sources.
7Emergencies
MedSocio is not designed for emergencies. Never delay urgent assessment or treatment while waiting for a response from members or a tool.
8Responsibility
The treating doctor remains fully responsible for every clinical decision and its consequences. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedSocio accepts no liability for any decision made, or action taken, in reliance on content or tools available on the Platform. See our Terms of Service for details.
